We’re excited to keep the momentum rolling into 2022 with our next YAT Roundtable event – Activity Management in 2022!  

We were fortunate to have Ryan McQuillan present to a room full of us last month on Business Planning for 2022.  Jack Hawk, General Manager at AAA Life Insurance, will dive deeper into the activity management portion of the business planning curriculum. 

Per Jack, “It’s not a secret the role of the Financial Advisor is challenging. LIMRA has an entire research team devoted to recruiting, selecting, and retaining advisors. They publish a research paper every year on the topic. They devote so much time and energy on Advisors because only 15% will still be under contract in four years from the date of hire! The reason is simple – they aren’t making enough money to pay their bills.

Over 30 years ago I was close to becoming one of the 85% who didn’t make it to my fourth year. I was frustrated, embarrassed, depressed, and angry.  I became determined to find out what I was doing wrong so I began tracking my activity. It was at that point I understood why some people fail and some are successful. It took all the emotional swings out of my business. It turned my business plan of hoping and trying into a simple math problem.
