"Case Studies in Insurance Ethics"

This course is designed to provide you with a clear understanding of why ethics is good for you and your business.  A significant portion of the seminar will be spent reviewing and discussing some intriguing and thought- provoking real life case studies.  We will discuss issues affecting the insurance industry as well as the general public’s perceptions of insurance. 

This interactive program will include an overview of why ethics is important and review some current examples of unethical behavior in business (such as some of the issues which led to the current financial crisis that has crippled our country’s economy.)  We will develop a class definition of ethics through an open discussion focusing on full disclosure and abiding by laws.  The issues discussed and clarified in this first part of the program will be used as a guide for the various case studies to follow.  At the end of the program, each attendee will complete a brief self-assessment questionnaire.  You’re bound to leave with a heightened awareness of ethics that will be helpful to you in your efforts to always do what is in the client’s best interests.

About the Speaker
Our presenter is the ever-popular Robin Mueller, LUTCF -- one of the insurance industry's leading speakers and trainers -- and according to our members who have attended his programs, he is the best ethics presenter EVER! Robin entered the insurance business in 1979. He has been an agent, in field management and in the home office. For three years, Robin served as President of the Foundation for Insurance and Financial Education. Robin is a frequent presenter at industry meetings and and has spoken at GAMA, NAFIC and MDRT. 

This program will provide three hours of ETHICS for NE and IA Insurance CE, CLE, CPE and PACE, pending approvals. This course also will provide three hours of GENERAL CFP credit (pending approval).
