Plan to join us Wednesday, March 25th as NAIFA-Cornhusker honors their Award winners, Quarter Century and Half Century Club members, scholarship winners and Past O.R. Frey Award recipients.

There is no cost for NAIFA members to attend.  Spouses and other guests are welcome for a guest fee of $30 per person, payable online or at the door by cash, check or credit card.

James Brown is proud to call Nebraska home. Originally from the Grand Island area, he graduated from Grand Island Central Catholic High School before moving to Lincoln to attend the University of Nebraska. In 1994, he earned his degree from the College of Business Administration.

During his time at the university, James experienced a life-changing moment when he met his future wife, Brandi. Their story began at Wheeler’s Country General Store, where Brandi worked as a cashier and James in farm supplies. They married in the summer of 1995, and that fall made the bold decision to leave the corporate world behind to pursue their dream of becoming American Family Insurance agency owners.

Committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, James earned his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation shortly after launching his agency. In 2007, he graduated from the Leadership in Life Institute and went on to serve as NAIFA Cornhusker President in 2008.

James and Brandi have been married for over 30 years and are blessed with three children—John (and his wife, Paige), Colleen (and her friend, Alex), and Matthew—as well as two grandsons, Benedict and Ambrose. He is also an active member of North American Martyrs Catholic Church in the Highlands and the Knights of Columbus.
