All Roads Lead to Lincoln on February 14th!   Plan to join us Wednesday, Feb. 14 for the all-new NAIFA-Nebraska Legislative Day "Drive In" in Lincoln.  

NEW THIS YEAR!  Our new format will provide attendees with two hours of continuing education credits -- plus an opportunity for you and other NAIFA members to meet privately with the State Senator representing your district.  Here's a quick overview of the agenda for the day:

10AM to 12Noon -- We'll meet for a legislative briefing session with the following speakers (and this session will provide two hours of CE credits, pending approvals):

• Senator Mark Kolterman (District 24) -- Former insurance agent & NAIFA member, chairs the NE Retirement Systems Committee
• Bruce Ramge -- Director, NE Department of Insurance
• Claire McHenry -- Deputy Director of NE Department of Banking & Finance
• Dave Beaty -- Member, NAIFA National Board of Trustees
• Mick Mines -- NAIFA-Nebraska Lobbyist

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts also has been invited to address our group.

NEW THIS YEAR! Following the morning program and briefings, the NAIFA-Nebraska office will schedule a time for you to have a brief 15-20 minute meeting with your State Senator in their Capitol office during the lunch hour or the early afternoon.  We'll provide you with all the tools and information you'll need to have a productive meeting.  If you've never met with your State Senator before -- don't worry about it!  We'll pair you up with a "veteran" NAIFA member to accompany you to your meeting.  You're sure to come away having taken an important first step in establishing a good relationship with your Senator.

NEW THIS YEAR!  There is no fee for NAIFA members to attend this important event!

ALSO NEW THIS YEAR!  If you're driving in from outside of the Lincoln and Omaha areas, we'll even provide you with some gas money!  If you're a member of one of these Local Associations, you'll be eligible for the following travel reimbursement:

• Nebraskaland (Columbus area) -- $25.00
• Heartland (Grand Island area) -- $30.00
• Central (Kearney area) -- $40.00
• Midwest (North Platte area) -- $65.00
• Panhandle (Scottsbluff area) -- $115.00
