Featured Speaker - Wanda Caffrey, The 2017 O.R. Frey, CLU, Award Winner

Wanda Caffrey is an Investment Advisor Representative with Ameritas Investment Corp (AIC) Member FINRA/SIPC.  She started her career in the financial services industry at a national brokerage firm.  Wanda worked 13 years at the brokerage firm passing her Series 7, 63 and 65 investment licenses and providing technical analysis services.

After leaving the brokerage firm, she worked at an investment advisory firm before moving the end of 2002 to help open a new investment firm with Ameritas Investment Corp as her broker dealer.  In 2009, she founded her own firm, Polaris Financial Services.  Concentrating on providing clients with a foundation of annuity, life & health insurance while working to build an investment plan aimed at meeting their financial goals. 

In 2013, Wanda teamed with James R Christensen of inSource Benefits Group and continues to provide financial planning and investment strategies. 

Wanda joined NAIFA-Cornhusker in March of 2004 and was elected to the Board in April of that year.  She served on the board as Treasurer for 5 years beginning in 2005 and was the State AHIA chair from 2010 to 2011.  Wanda continues to lead the Awards committee for the local Cornhusker chapter. In addition, she is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and Women in Financial Services.
